He Has Risen
Just as the lotus buds rise out of the mud ….
so, Christ Jesus arose…
from death and the grave and now lives…
seated with God…in heaven above!
To save us from the penalty of sin…
is why He came… now He’s returned to heaven again!
Eternal life is a gift, He will give us…
if we will open our hearts… inviting Him in!
Forgiveness from sin… a new life to begin…
If only we will accept and follow Him…
His teachings…. that to all of the people…
and His disciples… He had been preaching!
Come what may…
my faith in Him has been given..
I’ll walk the walk and talk the talk…
until like Him I’ve been risen!
